Our client wanted a simple yet modern kitchen cabinets for their home in Puchong. We proposed a red and black kitchen with laminate refacing for their existing wall cabinets and a tiled kitchen counter top in black. The result was outstanding and the clients were happy that most of their old wall cabinets were put into the kitchen design.
These existing wall cabinets maintained its surface in good condition and we tried to reface them as requested by the clients due to shortage of budget to create an elegant kitchen. This glossy chilli red laminate really compliments the black tiled kitchen counter top.
You too can remodel your kitchen if your cabinets are still in very good condition by just changing its accessories and giving it a new look. You would just have to make sure the new fittings can be matched and installed properly to the existing structure and surface of the old cabinets. Please take time to find good craftsmen who are very experienced in carpentry.
Usually most kitchen cabinet manufacturers or contractors are not keen on taking up this kind of work due to the tediousness of the work involved in uninstalling the old fixtures, preparing and cleaning old surfaces and repairing damages before actually starting the refacing procedures. Obviously making new kitchen cabinets from scratch is a lot easier and time efficient. We did this for the clients for a very low price but in fact it is not achievable otherwise by a lot contractors.
Before we start work on any project, we make a 3D drawing of the kitchen or any other area before and after effects so that the clients could get a feel of how the new kitchen will look like. This can also help them to make any final adjustments to original work scope. This is important to avoid any misunderstandings and additional costs due to the clients changing their mind after seeing maybe 50% of the renovation works done and want something more done to the area.
